UNIVERSAL beat TLM Blackburn this week in the Witton Winter Sunday League and with it was a warning to league leaders Pump Handle who they meet next week.
First half goals from Dewhurst and player/manager Howarth set Universal on their way and a second half brace from Bell sealed the 6-2 victory. Pump Handle stay top after a comfortable 4-0 win over the disappointing GW Flooring. Joint leaders Hollands came up against last season's champions Manxman who for the first time this year showed some of last season's form and goals from Egan (2), Hibbert, Perry and Mick Baron gave Manxman a 5-0 success.
