SOCCER: Three clubs are locked together on 16 points at the top of the Witton Winter League First Division.
West End hit a late winner to beat Medin 2-1. Manxman slipped up this week when they could only draw 3-3 with Crown Wallcoverings. Welding Engineering hit the goals this week with an 8-2 success over Caristone.
Rising Sun moved off the bottom and were replaced by New England who were beaten by the Sun 2-1. The top match in Division Two saw the top two meet and FJM Pawnbrokers opened a three-point gap by beating SC Building 2-0.
Alarms and Communications beat the Pub 2-0 and replaced SC in second place. KEB gained their first point of the season in a 4-4 draw with Mill Hill Wanderers.
New Gardeners seem to be running away with the Third Division title after another easy win 8-2 against Athletico Redcap. The race seems to be on for the runners-up slot, FC Dynamoes currently stand in second place after beating the inconsistent SS Lucas 3-2. Acme Real, try as they might, lost again this time 5-0 to Aqualux. Forest UK won for the second week running, this week beating Pump Handle 2-0.
