HOW naive and sad it is that Mr J Naughton (Letters, December 1) finds the subject of fox-hunting mildly amusing.

Perhaps he should witness the absolute cruelty dished out by so-called human beings on a defenceless animal.

It strikes me that he should direct his efforts into more constructive and positive comments in the hope that it might make a difference, instead of wasting people's time with uneducated, crude and humanless drivel.
