AS a loyal Bury FC supporter, I feel that the fans should have got behind Neil Warnock and the lads instead of having a go all the time during matches.
I admit that Mr Warnock made mistakes by selling Chris Lucketti, Dean Kiely and Tony Ellis, but he needed money to buy other players. How else would he have obtained the money? Remember that Bury is a family club with very little money.
Mr Warnock did the best that he could for the club considering all the financial restrictions, and I congratulate him for that. I think that if the supporters had got behind him then we would have done better last season.
I would also like to say that I have met Mr Warnock quite a few times and he is a very nice man. I certainly wish him all the best in his new job.
I also think that the supporter who posted an Internet message reportedly suggesting "setting fire to Neil Warnock's wife" is disgusting. This supporter needs serious help.
