I DON'T care how soon they close Leigh Court and get rid of the magistrates, if my own personal taste of "justice" is anything to go by.
I am 49, suffer from angina, high blood pressure and am an insulin-dependent diabetic - hardly bound to go looking for trouble.
Yet following an incident in Leigh town centre, during which I was beaten-up in front of my wife and children and my car damaged, I was fined £100 and £55 costs.
The other person involved was, like me, charged with a public order offence and fined a similar amount.
Unfortunately it cost me a further £100 for a new windscreen and £50 to repair the stoved-in side of my car.
Justice! What justice?
