Crosfields under 15s 36 Blackbrook Royals nil
Having been on the end of a 60-point hammering from the league leaders a month earlier, this game showed how quickly Royals are improving.
With new boy Graham Henley distributing well to take the man-of-the-match award, they went close to scoring several times. Others who impressed were Kevin Ryan, Mark Hamilton, John Tully, Ste Owen, Andy Hobson and Chris Springford.

Injury and illness reduced Royals to only 12 players and they gave a good account of themselves.
Simon Dixon was the BICC Components man of the match, while Greg Hale was the Makerfield Timber top tackler. Dane Shepherd scored the Royals' try.

Haydock 20
This was a match Haydock would rather forget as they were let down by weak tackling and indiscipline.
Haydock scored first when Danny Lyon collected a Barry Kerkhof chip to touch down.
Andy Owen also grabbed a try, but Haydock trailed 22-10 at the break.
On a miserbale day for Haydock, further tries from Ben Melia and Danny Gee, converted by Cunliffe weren't enough to prevent defeat.
Rekon man of the match was Alan Mason, while Danny Gee was the Craddock and Lamb top tackler. Barry Kerkhof, Jamie Pilling, John Raw and Kevin Taylor also impressed.

Ashton 14
Haydock's unbeaten run came to an end against a fine Ashton side. Their try came from West Lancs man-of-the -match Aaron Lloyd. Top tackler was Jordan Gibson, coaches award winner Josh Turner and most improved Scott Hale.

Portico 10
Portico's tries came from man-of-the-match Josh Davies and joint coaches award winner Dale Croft. Davies also kicked a goal. while Jon Fairhurst also shared the coaches award. Top tackler was Stu Lloyd.
Haydock's West Lancs man of the match was Josh Turner, top tackler Adam Melia, coaches award winner Nathan Halliwell, most improved Joel Gough, with tries coming from Aaron Lloyd, Jordy Gibson, Kyle Braithwaite and Scott Hale.
Pilks under 14s 4
Woolston 24
Pilks never gave up in terrible conditions. Their try came from Bargain Booze man-of-the-match A. Stuart. There were fine defensive efforts from K. Langley, J. Sheffield and M. Davies, while other good performances came from L. McMillan, S. Owen and G. Davies.

Leigh Miners 36
After a bright start Pilks faded. Their tries were scored by Stu Birch and Sam Hughes. TMT Catering Services awards went to man-of-the-match Matty Owen, coaches award winner Paul Owen and performer of the week Paul Rigby.
