A COLOURFUL new guide should act as a magnet to attract more shoppers into Bury.
And it will be distributed across the North West to act as a prime promotional tool in highlighting all that's great and good in Bury's bustling town centre.
The "Bury Town Centre Year 2000" guide, published by the Bury Times, will certainly help put the area on the map.
It contains comprehensive information about the Mill Gate centre, Bury's world-famous market and other attractions as well as an A-Z on the types of shops and businesses in the area.
Another useful addition is a detailed map to guide shoppers around the busy Mill Gate.
The publication comes at a time when the cenre is breaking all visitor records.
And with the attraction of the Woodfields, Moorgate and neighbouring retail parks, Bury town centre is certainly bouyant.
The new leaflet is being distibuted to all tourism offices and coach operators throughout the North West and is also available locally.
Converted for the new archive on 14 July 2000. Some images and formatting may have been lost in the conversion.
