A MAN missed out on the chance to win £1million on TV last night - but he did come home with £1,000.
Chris Nicholson, 21, of Nuttall Street, Accrington, appeared on Chris Evans' show TFI Friday.
If he had answered three questions about television correctly he would have won £5,000, with the option to gamble it for a one in nine chance of winning £1million.
He got all three questions wrong, but after the correct answer to the third was queried he was given £500 and successfully gambled it on a fourth to win £1,000.
