IT is not just the footballers at Blackburn Rovers who are fit.
A team of employees from Ewood Park finished first in the Darwen Biathlon.
The event, in aid of the British Heart Foundation, is run through Darwen Masters Swimming Club and sponsored by Darwen-based firm Wolstenholme Rink.
One of the organisers was Rovers' financial controller Barbara Hoyle, who has been a member of the Masters club for 10 years.
She said: "The event consists of a half-mile swim and a five-mile cross country run.
"To constitute a full team, members must complete a total of three biathlons either as individuals or in pairs - one for the swim, the other the run.
"We were the only team to successfully complete all three."
Barbara, of Sunnyhurst, Darwen, won an individual silver medal in the women's competition.
Rovers' other team members were swimmers Kimberley Crook and Sara Clough and runners Simon Smith and Sharon Lambert.
