THE East Lancashire Hospice is nearing its 1999 target of £200,000 towards better day care facilities at the Park Lee site, Blackburn.
The fund-raisers hope to reach £200,000 towards the £1.3million cost before New Year and the fund now stands at £166,307 after £7,540 was received this week.
Recent donations include: Stirk House September Ball, £6,000; Dee Adams and family's jumble sale, £250; donations, £70; St James' House, Darwen, £163; Asda, Blackburn, public collection, £949; Blackburn market refreshment bar, £18; in memory of loved ones, £90.
