ROASTED in last year's inspection for bad management, poor morale and an unsettling amount of change in the force, Lancashire Constabulary comes out of this year's review by the police inspectorate with glowing marks for improvement.
This is not only good news in terms of more effective and efficient policing, it also shows that the force and its chiefs have responded promptly and positive to the sharp criticism they received last year.
