A MAJOR improvement scheme for Lancashire's railway stations was being used as a blueprint for similar projects across the country.
That was the message from Coun Joe French, chairman of the county's public transport sub-committee, who unveiled a plaque at Huncoat station to mark the success of the scheme so far.
