BURY'S cash flow crisis could see acting manager Andy Preece keeping the job longer than planned with his latest test a trip to Scunthorpe.
And if his pledge to play the ball on the ground and give the youngsters a chance, holds good, the fans may well demand that he gets the job on a permanent basis.
Preece has heralded a new dawn by recruiting ex-Manchester United Youth supremo Eric Harrison to help out with the training, which has taken on a markedly different shape.
Meanwhile, chairman Terry Robinson is anxious to reduce the wage bill and has circulated details of all staff around the League.
Preece has fitness over leading scorer Ian Lawson, Chris Billy and Sam Collins but otherwise has a full squad from which to select.
