BOLTON could blood new recruit Darren Holloway against Stockport tomorrow - but boss Sam Allardyce won't make any guarantees to the Sunderland defender.
The 22-year-old right back could lose out to youngster Dean Holden who made a highly impressive full debut against Wimbledon on Tuesday night.
"If we had to single anyone out from that night it would be Dean," said Allardyce. "To come in and stand up to Marcus Gayle and nullify him as long as he did was fantastic. He's a Bolton lad, wants to do well and it's a great boost for the fans if a local boy gets through."
Meanwhile, Allardyce is racing against the clock to bring Everton midfielder Gareth Farrelly to the Reebok full time. A loan period ran out last weekend.
Squad:Jaaskelainen, Holden, Fish, Bergsson, Whitlow, Johansen, Jensen, Elliott, Gardner, Taylor, Gudjohnsen, Hansen, Aljofree, Banks, Passi, Strong, Holloway, Potter, Staton, Warhurst, Holdsworth.
