ANWCC class contenders Mick Farrer and Barbara Burke concluded their season with a points scoring finish at Flookburgh.
But the Rossendale rally crew now have to wait to see if their result, eighth in class and 25th overall on the Oaks Stages, is enough to win the category.
"The points table is quite complicated, with scores dependent on overall positions. We just have to wait for the championship co-ordinators to do their sums," explained Barbara.
"But whatever happens, we've had a good season and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Hopefully, we'll be back for more in 2000."
With support from mechanic Nick Smith, who looks after their Ford Escort on every event, and sponsorship from Millers Oils and Colin Brennan Motor Services, Rossendale, Mick and Barbara are planning another ANWCC campaign next year.
"We won't be going back to the Three Sisters, because the car isn't suited to it, but we would like to do Anglesey, Weeton Barracks and Flookburgh again," she added.
