FIVE tasty pies for the new millennium have been created by students from Burnley Walshaw High School.
The year ten girls are studying GCSE food technology and have entered the competition organised by Hollands Pies, of Baxenden.
Their creations are spicy spinach and chicken, pizza pie, leek and potato, spinach and vegetable and Grandma's hashy pie with corned beef.
Last year pupils won the chance to see their chilli con pie created at the factory.
