LEADERS Prince of Wales had their feathers ruffled in the Darwen Hotels Snooker League by Cemetery B who came away with a 6-2 win.

Jonathan Kenyon starred for Cem B with a sparkling performance against Andy Heyes and the Prince are now hanging on grimly to top spot with their top challengers having a game or two in hand.

Champions Cemetery A moved into second place after a hard-fought 5-3 win over Hoddlesden. Gaz Hampson, as sound as the Bank of England, pulled back the aggregate and won the last frame against Julian Winkley. Earlier Steve Hill had slammed Walt Jarvis by over 80 points.

Anchor won their first game - and they did it in style, slamming Borough B 7-1, Borough A and Top Con A drew and Uncle Jack's beat Alex B 5-3. The postponed Alexandra A v Punch match was adjudged to be 4-4 by the league's "Pools Panel."
