BOLTON Wanderers are on a hiding to nothing against FA Cup third round opponents Cardiff City tonight (kick off 8pm).
Wanderers entertain the second division strugglers at the Reebok Stadium after their original fixture was "rained off" 11 days ago.
But the delay has not brought about any improvement on the selection front. In fact, with new boys Gareth Farrelly and Darren Holloway both ineligible, boss Sam Allardyce has even more headaches to contend with.
Both players figured against Stockport on Saturday, but Allardyce could choose to bring in Hasney Aljofree to cover in midfield and yongster Dean Holden at right back.
Without a league win since mid November, Allardyce is hoping to mirror Bolton's phenomenal semi final run in the Worthington Cup.
Jimmy Philips, Paul Warhurst, Dean Holdsworth (all hamstring) and Robbie Elliott (hernia) are all still on the treatment table.
Squad: Jaaskelainen, Whitlow, Bergsson, Johansen, Jensen, Taylor, Gardner, Gudjohnsen, Fish, Banks, Hansen, Aljofree, Passi, Holden, Strong, Potter, Staton.
