SINGERS made it a golden Christmas by presenting their 50th anniversary year festive concert to a capacity audience.
Nelson Civic Choir's three sections - primary, junior and ladies - gave a programme including Christmas favourites, items from their Celebration CD, a short pantomime and a Nativity, at Colne Municipal Hall.
They finished with Auld Lang Syne, with the entire audience linking hands for the new millennium.
The Mayor of Pendle, Coun Edwina Sargeant, was special guest.
The choir was formed in 1949, and Ted Parr has been its musical director for 48 years.
The anniversary year has included special concerts, parties, exhibitions, reunions and recording their CD.
Copies of the CD are available by contacting Mr Parr on Nelson 606014.
