ONCE again blue skies and a sharp frost greeted the Accrington Road Runners handicap race.
First off was Lorraine Potter followed by team-mates staggered at intervals relevant to race time throughout the year.
It was a significant win for newly-appointed president Dave Heppenstall who came in ahead of his comrades.
First girl home was Julia Hartley who has improved greatly since joining the club.
Last to start was points race champion Adrian Fearnley who struggled with the cold conditions and finished next to last.
