BUDDING entrepreneurs are being urged to take advantage of an offer of help.
The Prince's Trust provides assistance to young people setting up businesses. As well as substantial financial support to buy equipment, the Trust also offers marketing help.
"The success of the scheme is rooted in careful planning with the assistance of the local enterprise agencies together with on-going advice from volunteer mentors from the trust," said John Ball of Blackburn & District Enterprise Trust.
"The mentors, all experienced business people, don't try to run the business but provide expert 'hand-holding' during the early days."
The Prince's Trust also has arrangements with specialist marketing advisers to provide free guidance to young entrepreneurs.
Information on the scheme is available by contacting 01772 848338 or 01254 696869.
