THE fact that Ian Barker claims all parties were consulted about John Burrows' departure doesn't reassure the public one bit. All parties were supposedly consulted over Blobby and other costly fiascos but as was asked at the time - were they told everything? He also piously claims to respect the privacy of council officers in order to avoid detailed explanation - David Christley I presume never warranted such protection? He hasn't answered Cllr Barry's question and is as evasive as his former colleague and leader, Stan Henig. Maybe he'll go the same way - he won't be missed either.
