Vale of Lune 31 Blackburn 15
A RED card failed to stop Vale getting their first home win of the season on Saturday.
For an hour the Lune's played with only 14 men after Baines was alleged to have gouged an opponent and aggression simmered under the surface throughout the match.
A late tackle on scrum half Steve Swarbrick started the aggro with fists flying all round but Vale let their rugby doing the talking.
Cadman was the man of the match with a drop goal, two converted tries and three crucial penalties. What's more Vale's defending was firm and soaked up everything Blackburn could throw at them.
