FIFTEEN Fylde schoolchildren become TV stars for the day Thursday (December 16) as they join Richard and Judy on the set of This Morning.
Pupils from Westcliff Infant School, Bispham, were plucked from the Internet to appear on the show as part of the programme's run up to Christmas.
And head teacher Sandra O'Donnell is delighted their nativity will be seen by the nation.
"We received a telephone call from the producer of This Morning last Wednesday just as we were preparing to present the show to our parents and told we had to give an answer immediately.
"And of course we said yes after clearing it with all the parents. The show's producers were searching on the Internet for a school in the North West as they like to present children from all over the country and actually rang Bispham Junior school first, but their pupils were too old and they suggested us which is great.
"We will perform the three kings section of the nativity and sing a couple of songs including of course We Three Kings.
"We have been performing nativity plays at Westcliff for 40 years as we believe in the traditional values and this is a great accolade for a Blackpool school, especially as the Millennium approaches and the nativity is more relevant than ever."
And the entire school will settle in front of the TV at 12noon to watch their classmates in action.
Mrs O'Donnell added: "We are very grateful for the full support of the Blackpool Children's Licensing Officer Margaret Leeming."
