POLICE civilian staff staged their third weekly walk-out on Monday, December 20, as the row over threatened pay cuts rumbles on.
This week's eight-hour stoppage was the last in a series of strikes by support workers at the Bury division, in common with their colleagues throughout Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
Their union, Unison, is in dispute with GMP over a controversial job evaluation scheme.
Unison claim many of its 3,000 support staff could face salary reductions of up to £5,500.
Officials say 30 per cent of civilian workers force-wide will lose, out while only 12 per cent will get a wage increase.
More than 30 support staff, based at Bury police divisional headquarters, took part in the eight-hour stoppage on Monday.
Meanwhile, union officials were in talks with Police bosses on Wedneday (December 22) in the latest bid to break the deadlock.
