WACKY racers braved the wind and rain and made a Boxing Day dash up one of Rossendale's fells.
The Whinberry Naze Dash attracted 130 runners from around the country.
Many donned fancy dress for the event, organised by Rossendale Harriers.
Last year's dash was going to be the last one - but it was resurrected at the last minute after organisers decided it would be a shame to see it end.
The race started from Cloughfold and runners scaled Cowpe Low Hill before returning to the starting point.
Those who reached the top were presented with a tube of Smarties by Miss Christmas.
Rob Hope was first back in 24 minutes and 22 seconds.
Prizes were also given for the best fancy dress costumes.
