A CHRISTMAS party was held for the East Lancashire Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Support Group, where members enjoyed a supper and were brought up to date with the latest developments by the group's leader, Mrs Audrey Atwood.
Rossendale and Darwen MP Janet Anderson and Burnley MP Peter Pike also attended.
A pot plant was presented to the group's secretary, Mrs Rosemary Eveleigh, on her birthday, in appreciation of her hard work.
The group's next meeting will be held at Wilpshire Methodist Church in Blackburn on Friday January 14 at 7.30pm, where Dr David Brimes will give a talk.
Newcomers are always welcome, patients and/or carers, and a newsletter is available with further details.
For further details contact Mrs Pat Marsden on 01254 884513 or Mrs Jeanette Birch on 01254 884250.
