WORKERS at a pie factory are being urged to put on their thinking caps to earn cash.
Employees at Hollands Pies will pick up a £1 voucher for each idea they have to improve the company - even if they aren't used.
And there will be bigger prizes for the best ideas of the quarter and the year.
"We've all had a 'Eureka!' moment at one time or another when a bright idea has come to mind," said Graham March, managing director of the Baxenden company.
"So what we are doing is asking the workforce to think of improvements to help us maintain and sharpen the competitive edge that is vital to the future of Holland's Pies."
