VANDALS have attacked three buses owned by a Blackburn coach firm.
The vehicles, part of Powercraft Coach Hire's fleet, have been covered in spray-painted graffiti.
The attack comes just weeks after Powercraft was forced to take a service off the road because of vandals who pelted buses with bricks.
In November, driver Mohammed Riaz escaped serious injury after a large window was smashed just behind his head.
But Paul Critchley, director of Powercraft Coach Hire, said drivers had not reported any attacks on buses in service in recent weeks.
But he said it was a blow to discover the graffiti on two minibuses and a coach.
"It's not just on the bodywork, it is on the windows as well," he said.
"We tried to get the paint off one of the buses using a steam cleaner but it just didn't work. There is still a lot of paint left.
"Luckily they were buses that we are not using at the moment - they are off the road. But we are planning to use them again."
Police are investigating the incident, which Mr Critchley discovered on Tuesday.
Mr Critchley said: "It must have happened during the day because they would not have been able to see what they were doing at night.
"It is just sheer vandalism."
