ENTREPRENEUR Andy Mackrell is looking forward to plenty of growth in the pipeline!
The 31-year-old, from Worsthorne, set up his own business, MAC Applications, three-and-a-half years ago and has now moved to new premises on Rossendale Road Industrial estate in Burnley.
Andy is one of hundreds of East Lancashire entrepreneurs who have taken part in the FirmBase business start up programme.
"I have always wanted to be my own boss and I knew I had the practical experience to go it alone," explained Andy.
"The help, advice and support I received from FirmBase was invaluable in the early stages of setting up."
As part of the ELTEC programme, Andy receives ongoing advice from a professional counsellor at Burnley Enterprise Trust.
The firm now employs a small team of engineers and has recently won contracts worth £250,000 for pipe fitting, air conditioning and general fabrication.
