COLIN Potts returns to Accrington Stanley aren't in action until Monday evening, with their game at mid-table Congleton kicking off at 7.30pm.
Accrington Stanley Under-18s will take on Clitheroe Youth at the Crown Ground in a league clash on Sunday. The match kicks off at 2pm and admission is free. DISCIPLINE and determination were the key factors in GREAT HARWOOD boss Denis Underwood is set to give youth a chance at the Showground in the New Year.
The Reds chief is happy with the way the club have got back on an even keel following relegation last year.
And now they have banished any thoughts of relegation again, Underwood feels it's time to blood the youngsters.
Meanwhile, Underwood is looking to reverse last Monday's 2-1 scoreline when the Reds meet Clitheroe again, this time on their own patch.
"I was pleased with our performance, if not the result.
"But the big turning point was the sending off of Neil Otley," he said.
Paul Brown is the only injury doubt after taking a heavy knock. PACEY winger Danny Heys is set to return to RAMSBOTTOM UNITED boss Ken Bridge will be keeping his fingers crossed that Russ Brierley and Mike Langhorn can shake off the effects of 'flu in time for their game against Fleetwood Freeport.
Both men missed the Bank Holiday mauling at neighbours Rossendale United and their inclusion in the squad would come as a massive boost.
But Danny Goodall will play no part as he is set to start a suspension. And Jamie Ramplin faces a six week lay off with a broken jaw.
"It was a disaster against Rossendale," said secretary John Maher.
"We looked like a team who had never met each other before, and they took full advantage."
United are looking for revenge against Freeport after losing 2-1 at their Highbury Stadium earlier in the season.
COLNE manager Denzil Hart while conceding that his inexperienced side needs to create more chances, remains optimistic despite the odd-goal defeat at Nelson last week.
And when the two teams meet again at Holt House on Monday (kick-off 2pm), Hart is hoping Colne will maintain the form they showed in the second half of the Christmas derby.
"The lads showed a lot of heart and surprisingly got better as the game went on," said Hart. It was Colne's first game for a month during which their training has also suffered some disruption, but Hart looks forward to having a stronger squad early in the New Year when he welcomes back several players after suspensions.
BACUP BOROUGH have a free weekend, while DARWEN are not in action until Tuesday evening when they entertain Kidsgrove Athletic in a FNWTL Floodlit Trophy second round tie (kick-off 8pm).
