BOLTON boss Sam Allardyce is keeping his fingers crossed as his side face a defensive injury crisis ahead of tomorrow's Division One clash with Ipswich.
Allardyce could be without four central defenders for the visit of high-flying Town to the Reebok Stadium, with Mark Fish (international duty) and Paul Ritchie (suspended) already ruled out.
And with Gudni Bergsson and Paul Warhurst both struggling with hamstring strains, the only centre half at the club still fit and available is reserve defender Greg Strong.
But the Reebok boss can always rely on the versatility of his largely-inherited squad. Dean Holden, Robbie Elliott and John O'Kane can all play in the centre of defence.
Squad: Banks, Holden, Bergsson, Whitlow, Phillips, O'Kane, Passi Jensen, Johansen, Holdsworth, Gudjohnsen, Taylor, Holloway, Jaaskelainen, Aljofree, Hansen, Elliott, Warhurst, Strong.
