LANCASHIRE Lynx are in Cup action tomorrow when they entertain National Conference Premier outfit Walney Central in the third round of the Silk Cup at Victory Park, kick off 3pm.
Lynx will be looking to build on last weekend's win over Whitehaven, but in the past they have suffered defeats in Cup competitions against amateur sides. The last time was in the days of Kevin Tamati when Thatto Heath were the victors in the same competition at Victory Park.
Coach Steve Hampson has been busy on the transfer front and last weekend saw the debut of Neil Roden who has come on loan for Wigan, this week Phil Farrell the brother of Great Britain camptain Andy Farrell has joined on loan from Wigan whilst ex-Salford prop forward Luke Vincent has joined on a permanent basis.
Lynx still have injury problems with full back Paul Roberts doubtful with a shoulder injury and prop forward Paul Norton doubtful with an arm injury, also missing will be Anton Garcia who received a two match ban for his recent sending off.
Lynx will select from: Roberts, Roden, Kay, O'Loughlin, Knowles, Jones, Demetriou, Alexander, Norton, Hannan, Prescott, Farrell, Smith, Doherty, Vincent, Houghton, Hilton, Crook, Rostance.
