BOSSES at a bus company in Blackburn are clearing up after another vandal attack put six of their buses out of action by graffiti artists whose "talents have gone to waste."

Paul Critchley (pictured), boss of Mill Hill-based Powercraft Coach Hire, found six of his buses covered in intricate graffiti when he arrived at work and immediately had to take them off the road.

The attack is the latest in a series of incidents suffered by the company, including a brick attack on a bus just before Christmas and other spates of graffiti. Other local companies have also been targeted.

Mr Critchley, who along with Leesa Vogt, is a managing director of Dreamline Travel which owns Powercraft, said: "We had to take buses off the road which were due to go to Blackpool and deal with school baths trips.

"They have really gone to town this time, and when you look at it you have to say this is a serious case of talent having gone to waste. The graffiti is very artistic and was not done by children because some of it reaches up to about eight feet high.

"With the amount of paint which has been used I would guess they must have spent about £30 or £40." The police have been informed about the attack.
