A BUSINESSMAN from the Ribble Valley is still in intensive care suffering from suspected meningitis.
The 53-year-old from Hurst Green is in Blackburn Infirmary where public health officials said his condition was "stable and comfortable".
The businessman, who runs a company in Darwen, was struck down with the illness during a Caribbean holiday in the Dominican Republic from where he was flown home.
