CHILDREN at a Blackburn school gave up their pocket money to help children in need.
Lammack Primary School pupils paid to wear what they liked to school on a non-uniform day in the last school week of the millennium.
They raised £162 for the Children's Promise campaign, which benefits several children's charities, and presented a cheque to staff from organisers Marks and Spencer.
