FOR the second time in weeks, East Lancashire has witnessed the harrowing aftermath of an old folk's home going bust with elderly residents being forced out.
The private-sector residential care business should be made to have a bond system - like the travel industry - so that when a concern goes broke, there are funds available to allow the old folk's home to be kept running until new accommodation can be found.
