DRINKERS were evacuated from Burnley town centre pub Sidewalk 53 when a fire broke out in the kitchen area.
Firefighters were called just after 11pm. A spokesman said the fire was caused by an electrical fault in a heater. The room was heavily smoke-logged with some smoke spreading to other rooms.
Everyone was out safely by the time fire crews arrived and no one was hurt.
