THE sharp-shooters from the West country roll into Burnley tomorrow.
But the Clarets will fight fire with fire as the two Andys, Payton and Cook, bid to outgun Jason Roberts and Jamie Cureton in front of goal.
Payton is the Second Division's leading scorer with 18 goals, one more than Roberts and three more than ex-Norwich City man Cureton, who converted the disputed penalty that separated the two sides in Bristol in August.
Payton will also have the support of Cooke, who found the net in his last home outing and looks to be back on song.
And the duel promises to provide a fascinating sub-plot to a promotion showdown Burnley will be desperate to win.
One of the men who will provide the ammunition is Burnley winger Glen Little and he believes that while each of the quartet has different strengths, they all possess the one vital ingredient for a striker - they know where the net is.
Little said: "I've played against them a few times and I think Cureton's probably got a bit more intelligence about him, although Roberts has got that pace and strength and he's been banging in the goals. They are different. Everybody knows Payts is an out-and-out goalscorer, while Cookie holds the ball.
"But I think Cookie would probably say he hasn't scored as many goals as he would have liked and I don't think people realise Cookie is a natural goalscorer as well.
"I wouldn't say any one of them are the same. But at the end of the day they all score goals and as a centre-forward it doesn't matter how you do it, whether you're skillfull and score goals or just in the six-yard box and score goals. If you put the ball in the net it's the same outcome really."
