PER Frandsen and Claus Jensen are out to prove who's the greatest Dane at The Reebok tomorrow.

The Danish duo once formed a deadly partnership at the heart of Bolton's midfield under previous boss Colin Todd.

But tomorrow they'll find themselves in direct opposition and it promises to be an intriguing clash.

Of the two, Frandsen is the better finisher with six goals in the Nationwide League so far, compared to Jensen's three.

But his Bolton counterpart is the greater provider, with five assists to his name as opposed to Frandsen's one.

Judging from the cross count, that's due to Jensen's tendency to drift out wide. And he's also more likely to take on an opponent than his old team-mate.

But the most striking comparison comes in tackling. Frandsen has made 105 - Jensen just 31.

But their duel isn't the only one likely to catch the eye. Nathan Blake returns to The Reebok for the first time since he quit Wanderers for Rovers in a £4.25 million deal in October 1998.

And the Welsh international striker will be keen to out-gun new Bolton hero Eidur Gudjohnsen. Both players have failed to set the scoring charts alight this season but on their day they can be as deadly as anyone.

Gudjohnsen appears to be the more all-round player, having made more dribbles and crosses, indicating his willingness to make runs into the channels.

But it was Blake who had the edge at Ewood - scoring once in a 3-1 Rovers win back in December.
