TALK about built-in obsolescence!
Has anyone else noticed that three of the four lights illuminating the new Belisha beacon crossing outside the recently-opened school in Rainford Road have lost their sparkle? Within days of the school's opening, the lights had packed in leaving just the flashing yellow ball in operation.
