POLICE are probing a suspected arson attack which destroyed Scout huts and a caravan.
Four firecrews spent three hours at the Sir Geoffrey Hulton estate on Newbrook Road, Atherton, after the blaze took hold of two adjoining huts and a six-berth caravan.
The huts were the main buildings of the complex which holds weekend and summer camps.
Officers from Atherton, Farnworth and Bolton used four jets and portable pumps to douse the flames which badly damaged the wooden and corrugated metal hut.
