TWO Preston radio executives have turned TV stars in a new fly-on-the-wall documentary.
'FM Unplugged' takes a fast-paced, in-depth look at the workings of Manchester-based Piccadilly Key 103, the biggest FM commercial station outside London.
Preston-based marketing director for Key 103, Eileen Baines, said: "It completely breaks the mould of the fly-on-the-walls genre and shows that hard work can be fun." As well as celebrity interviews from the likes of Noel Gallagher and Sting, the cameras join the news teams.
Dave Shearer, Key 103's Programme Director, who started his career as a presenter on Red Rose Radio and still lives in Preston, is also featured.
He said: "I'm sure viewers will love the series."
'FM Unplugged' can be seen on Granada TV at 10.30pm on Tuesday and runs until February 22.
