PRESTON: Boss David Moyes will include captain Sean Gregan in his side as North End look to jump into top spot in Division Two with a win over Reading.
Gregan looks set to start after recovering from a knee injury sustained in North End's 4-0 win at Oxford on Tuesday night.
Elsewhere Moyes welcomes back Icelandic striker Bjarki Gunnlaugsson, who will probably settle for a place on the bench after returning home today from an international tournament in Spain.
Reading are set to give a debut to striker Martin Butler, who this week snubbed North End in favour of a move to the Madejski Stadium.
Moyes' side are just a point behind league leaders Bristol Rovers, who face a tricky away trip to playoff contenders Burnley. A win over Reading, currently hovering just above the drop zone could see Preston lead the division for the first time since August.
Squad: Moilanen, Alexander, Edwards, Murdock, Jackson, Appleton, Eyres, Gregan, Rankine, Basham, Macken, Lucas, Kidd, McKenna, Gunnlaugsson, Beesley, Wright, Parkinson, Diaf.
