IN your article (LET, January 21), on the possible re-siting of the drinking fountain at the Darwen Street bridge in Blackburn, erected to the memory of George Dewhurst, who was elected a member of the first town council in 1851, a spokesperson for the present council says the restoration depends on costs and feasibility. May I suggest, therefore, that the cost and feasibility study is dealt with by the same person (s) who undertook the study into such projects as the metal trees, the bee hive, the nude sculptor, etc - there should then be no problem.
