BLACKPOOL Council has now decreed all council housing is to be ordered furnished (and of new furnishings).
This will cost Blackpool ratepayers an extra £2.5m and appears to be introduced to provide luxury for thousands of world refugees now flooding into the resort.
It's high time Tony Blair and New Labour stopped playing "rich uncles" to the world's destitute and opportunists and looked after the growing homeless crisis in Britain, the many mentally disabled and thousands having to sleep rough.
