COWLEY suffered a 19-5 defeat at the hands of a big Bishop Heber side in terrible conditions.
Cowley's try came from Cottington, while Ford impressed with his tackling.
The Year 10 side turned the tables, however, running out 37-12 winners. Tries were registered by Cook, Ashton and Williams, with the ever-improving Edgerton adding the conversions.
The Year 8 side enjoyed a 39-nil romp, with forwards and backs linking well. Simms claimed four tries.
The Year 7 squad visited Yorkshire, where they defeated Harrogate 20-nil, with Hunter and Burke to the fore.
But against Pocklington they suffered a 25-nil reverse.
Meanwhile, Cowley's under 16s hockey team found the net six times against Parr HS, with the goals coming from Claire Edgerton (3), Becky Williams, Lauren Hill and Vicky Rigby.
At under 14s level Cowley found themselves 1-0 down against Maghull, but staged a late rally to emerge 2-1 winners.
The under 13s won by a similar margin with goals from Terri Jones (2).
