A TEENAGE girl was indecently assaulted as she walked her dog through Taylor Park on Thursday, January 24 between 7.30 and 8pm.
The 17-year-old entered the park from Queens Road and let her dog off the lead. Suddenly she was grabbed by the throat from behind by a man who tried to drag her backwards.
The girl bit deep into his arm, before pulling away but the man held on to her and subjected her to an indecent assault and punched her in the face.
At this point the girl's dog started biting the man's legs and this enabled her to pull free and she kicked her attacker in the shins before running off.
The victim didn't get a good look at the man but said he had dark hair and was slightly taller than 5ft 7ins. He wore black, woollen gloves and an Adidas tracksuit top which she bit right through on one of the arms.
