PEOPLE with mental health problems have been given a £403,000 cash boost.
The Creative Living Centre in Prestwich has bagged the cash from the National Lottery Charities Board.
The centre aims to improve the lives of people with mental health problems and is based in the grounds of Prestwich Hospital.
It offers a range of activities, including complimentary therapies, creative arts, depression support, a garden/allotment project, cafe facility, leisure activities and a volunteer scheme.
The grant, to be awarded over three years, will help refurbish the centre, develop the garden, cover running costs, and pay staff salaries.
