CONCERN was growing today for the safety of a disabled Blackburn woman who has been missing from her home since Wednesday morning.
Police are now following up leads in the Fylde area in their search for May Elizabeth Lloyd, 47, of Newfield Drive, Fishmoor, Blackburn.
Inspector Robin Howard said they were widening the search to the Fylde as Mrs Lloyd previously lived in the area.
Mrs Lloyd suffered a stroke several years ago and lost the use of her right arm. She also walks with a slight shuffle.
Her husband, John Lloyd, made an emotional appeal for anyone who has seen his wife to help him find her.
Mrs Lloyd is 5ft 2in, has short, blonde, streaked hair, a fair complexion, blue eyes and is slim.
Anyone with information should contact Blackburn police on 01254 51212.
